Mass for the Health of Pope Francis in Buenos Aires

The archbishop of Buenos Aires, Jorge Ignacio García Cuerva, stated in an interview on the program "Cristina sin vueltas" hosted by Cristina Pérez on Radio Rivadavia that Argentinians have often not allowed Bergoglio to be Francis in all his magnitude. Amid concerns for the Pope's health, García Cuerva emphasized that "the Pope is the father who needs the prayers of everyone."

To show his support and solidarity, the archbishop will lead a mass in Plaza Constitución to pray for Francisco's swift recovery. The ceremony is scheduled for 5 PM in the square, although in case of rain it will be moved indoors to the Constitución train station.

García Cuerva highlighted the importance of accompanying the Holy Father with prayers, mentioning that in a world marked by conflicts and wars, Francis has been like a breath of fresh air, always promoting universal brotherhood. He also noted that in recent days the image of the Pope as a father for all has been recovered.
